The project brief called for a beautiful UI design, underpinned by outstanding user experience features, it needed to intuitively showcase the product range not distract from it, and importantly speak to Matisse’s authority in the industry as a design-space leader.

The project required an extensive discovery and user experience design phase; defining the multiple audiences, their needs, and a website architecture that would allow users to complete goals efficiently. This was coupled with a slick UI design system that elevated the customer experience to a level on par with the products they were on the website to browse.
Flexing across three audience segments; Residential, Multi-Home, and Commercial, and allowing product browsing through multiple streams including product type, function, brands and designers, the website offered effortless pathways to discovering the right products, as well as creating a solid basis for implementing a successful search engine optimisation strategy.
